In 2016 HERMETRIK from Muenster and Hamburg want to jump from their small rehearsal room onto the German stages and beyond. They have played in various different bands and projects before they met each other and were able to group in this very creative and inspiring formation.

 

The band makes you dance to their fusion of indie-rock, post-punk and synthesizer-electronic parts. The entire sound created by all members unitedly is centred around the very concise and thunder-like bass coming across like an elemental force. The frame around the music is designed by catchy and cristal clear guitar lines simply aligning with the beat.

 

On the one hand the band explodes and sky-rockets but on the other pop elements and light-footed arrangements melodically answer the former. The drums support this dalliance between silence and noise resulting in pure energy. Whereas the voice ranges from the expression of Weltschmerz (world-weariness) to an ueber-world-embracing and joyfully energetic style.
